What is the explanation of the Hadith: "By Allah, this is better than filling the earth with the likes of this," as understood by the righteous predecessors of the Muslim community, and what is the permissible limit for using the expression of an oath, "By Allah," and its circumstances?

A servant's standing with Allah is determined by the extent of their love, sincerity, piety, and deeds, such that a poor, unknown person might be better than a wealthy, influential one due to the perfection of their faith. The hadith does not mean that the poor are absolutely better than the rich; rather, the best is the most pious to Allah.

The matter of an oath must be greatly revered. An oath should only be sworn by Allah, truthfully, when necessary, and concerning a matter of significant import or danger.
