Does a person who apostatizes from Islam inherit their share of the inheritance?

If a person apostatizes from Islam before the death of the estate owner, then he does not inherit, because a non-believer does not inherit from his Muslim relative by consensus, due to the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "A Muslim does not inherit from a disbeliever, nor does a disbeliever inherit from a Muslim." However, if he apostatizes after the death of his inheritor, then he owned his share of the inheritance at the time of death, because he was a Muslim then, and his share transferred to his ownership immediately upon the death of the inheritor.
