Is the payment of blood money (diyya) obligatory along with imprisonment if the victim's family rejects blood money in exchange for the imprisonment of the accused in a case of accidental killing?

The obligation in accidental killing is expiation upon the killer and blood money upon his Aqila (male relatives on the father's side). The jurists did not mention imprisonment for accidental killing in absolute terms; rather, they mentioned it for intentional killing, or causing it, or semi-intentional killing, as a form of discretionary punishment (tazir) if the killing resulted from a sin, transgression, or negligence. Tazir does not negate blood money.
