Does placing a pound note and writing a name at the beginning of the Mus-haf make it haram?

There is no religious impediment to writing a person's name at the beginning or end of the Mushaf (copy of the Qur'an) to distinguish it from others, though not writing is preferable. If the writing is on the pound (bill/coin), there is no need for it, and it might damage it. The pound should be returned to the person who gifted the Mushaf or inquired about, as they might have forgotten it inside.
