Is it obligatory to preserve and maintain the names (Aziz, Abu Kabir, Hafiz) if they belong to people?

If the mentioned words refer to persons, they do not deserve the same level of respect and preservation as the names of Allah the Almighty and the names of His prophets, peace be upon them, even if some of them are phonetically similar. The Quran and every revered name, such as a name of Allah or a name of a prophet, must be respected, honored, and glorified. What is meant by the names of the prophets are those that are understood to refer to a prophet, such as "Muhammad, Messenger of Allah" or "Jesus, peace be upon him." However, the mere name "Muhammad" or "Jesus" does not fall under this ruling. A Muslim should respect all written material, especially if it is in Arabic script.
