What is the appropriate action for a husband to take with his wife and her daughter who have physically and verbally assaulted him and refused to apologize, given that the husband wishes to live with his wife according to the teachings of the Quran and Sunnah, despite the difficulty of the situation?

To resolve marital problems, one must know the rights and duties of each party, and each should treat the other with good character, overlooking unintentional slips and mistakes, while each advises the other to obey Allah. A man should not hate his wife if he dislikes a certain trait in her; he should remember that she was created from a rib. If a woman disobeys her husband and there is defiance (nushuz), he may discipline her in stages: admonition, then abandonment in bed, then a non-brutal beating that leaves no mark and does not strike the face or dangerous areas, with the aim being correction and discipline, not revenge. If she obeys, it is not permissible to continue her punishment.
