How does a student of knowledge begin his Dawah (call to Islam) after memorizing the Book of Allah and the scientific texts and the prophetic Hadiths? And does he begin by calling to the Oneness of Allah and renouncing Shirk (polytheism) and suppressing innovations? And how does he succeed in his Dawah?

Success in da‘wah (calling to Allah) is achieved through sincerity and following the path of the Prophet (peace be upon him), as stated in the Almighty's words: "Invite to the way of your Lord with wisdom and good instruction, and argue with them in a way that is best." Wisdom is for the intelligent and responsive, good instruction is for those who are heedless, and arguing in a way that is best is for the stubborn and deniers. Attention must be paid to gentleness and avoiding violence and fanaticism. Da‘wah should not involve declaring people innovators or sinners, nor should it be preoccupied with judging other callers to Islam.
