It is permissible for you to follow Sheikh Al-Albani or other trustworthy scholars such as Ibn Uthaymeen and Ibn Baz. Your responsibility will be absolved by doing so, and your worship will be valid. We caution you against obsessive thoughts (waswas), and we advise you to ignore them, for indulging in them leads to great evil.
