Is abstaining from marriage for the purpose of treating jinn possession (mass) and sorcery (sihr) sinful, and does being afflicted with jinn possession affect the choice of a wife?

If you find an improvement and a desire to marry, then seek a religious spouse, pray to Allah for guidance (Istikhara), and consult trustworthy people. Then propose to her, and frequently supplicate, read the Qur’an, and perform Ruqyah. Know that Ruqyah requires maintaining regular ذكر (remembrance of Allah), adhering to obedience, and avoiding disobedience. A person does not sin by not marrying, unless he fears temptation for himself while being capable of marriage.
