Can an infatuated jinn assault the wife after marriage?

A Muslim should place good reliance on Allah and not pay attention to the whispers of Satan, for a Muslim is strong through his religion and faith. Demonic possession is not denied, but exaggeration regarding it is. For a good life in this world and the hereafter, good deeds, seeking forgiveness, and repentance are necessary. If the effect of demonic possession is apparent, the fiancée and her family must be informed because it is considered a defect among the defects of marriage. One and his household are protected by obedience to Allah, worshiping Him, reciting the Quran, frequent remembrance of Allah, and seeking help from Allah. The house in which Surat Al-Baqarah is recited is protected from Satan. Also, during intercourse, one should say: "Bismillahi, Allahumma jannibnash-shaytana, wa jannibish-shaytana ma razaqtana" (In the name of Allah. O Allah, keep Satan away from us and keep Satan away from what You provide for us). If candor and acceptance occur, and they hold fast to Allah, they will be protected by Allah's permission. One must be diligent in performing Ruqyah and persist in it until the possession is gone. There is no harm in seeking help from trustworthy reciters known for their uprightness.
