Is describing a female friend as an innovator—without observing that on her—considered slandering chaste, unsuspecting women?

The aforementioned statement is not considered slander, because slander is accusing a legally responsible, free, Muslim, sane, chaste person of denying lineage or committing adultery. It is one of the seven destructive sins. A Muslim must think well of his brother, choose righteous friends, and stay away from deviants, for a person is upon the religion of his companion.
