What is the ruling of Sharia on joining a company that requires a payment of $100 for educational programs and pays $55 for every 9 people who join under the subscriber, knowing that the subscriber receives a product in exchange for the initial $100 and renews the subscription annually? Is this considered permissible (halal) or forbidden (haram)?

It is impermissible to deal with this company with the aim of profiting from advertising and marketing, because most of those who deal with it have no interest in the product itself, but rather their goal is money, which renders the transaction a form of maysir (gambling/easy money). This is further supported by the availability of programs at a lower price and the eagerness of many customers to subscribe with multiple names solely for financial gain.

Even if a person desires the product, he should not participate in advertising and promotion, as that constitutes aiding in sin and transgression.

And if the transaction includes the sale of websites and discount cards, then this involves two additional prohibitions: the impermissibility of selling discount cards due to the maysir involved in them, and the impermissibility of guiding to websites that may be used for unlawful purposes.
