Is it permissible to perform liposuction with local anesthesia after scientific advancements?

There is no objection to liposuction if it is done by means that do not involve surgical intervention, such as exercise, consumption of fat-absorbing substances, and injections, whether for reasons of necessity, need, or cosmetic enhancement. However, removing fat through surgery is permissible only if the fat causes significant harm, not merely for cosmetic purposes; because cosmetic surgery falls under changing the creation of Allah, and the reason for the prohibition is not in the type of anesthesia.
