How sound is the Hadeeth regarding Allah Almighty's descent on the night of the middle of Sha'ban to the lowest heaven to forgive more than the number of hairs on the sheep of the Kalb tribe, as narrated by Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her)?

The Hadith about Aisha losing the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and his going out to Al-Baqi' is authentic. However, the addition related to the night of the middle of Sha'ban, stating that Allah forgives more than the number of hairs on the sheep of the Kalb tribe during it, is weak. This addition has been deemed weak by Hadith imams such as Al-Bukhari, Al-Tirmidhi, and Al-Albani, due to the weakness and discontinuity of its chain of narration. As for the original Hadith concerning the Prophet's (peace and blessings be upon him) going out to Al-Baqi' and seeking forgiveness for its inhabitants, it is authentic.
