Is it permissible to prevent a person who meets the conditions for leading the prayer from stepping forward to lead the prayer in the mosque because he is married to a flaunting Kitābīyah (Christian or Jewish woman)?

Advice to the Imam: He should oblige his Christian wife to wear the hijab and dress modestly, because condoning her display of adornment constitutes cuckoldry (dayatha). As for the congregants (ma'mumoon), there is no harm for them in praying behind him. However, it is better to put someone else from among the upright (al-udool) forward to deter him.
