Is it permissible to occupy oneself with ذكر (remembrance of God) and reading the Qur’an for someone who cannot hear the Khatib during the Friday sermon?

It is not permissible for a congregant who hears the Imam's sermon on Friday to speak, even if it is to remember Allah (dhikr) or to enjoin good and forbid evil, because the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "If you say to your companion on Friday, 'Listen,' while the Imam is delivering the sermon, then you have spoken idly." Listening attentively is obligatory from the moment the Imam begins the sermon. It is not permissible for someone who enters while the Imam is delivering the sermon to initiate a greeting (salam), nor for anyone to respond to him verbally. As for the congregant who does not hear the sermon due to distance, it is permissible for him to remember Allah silently to himself, recite the Quran, and send blessings upon the Prophet (peace be upon him) discreetly, without raising his voice in doing so.
