What is the ruling on listening to Qur'anic recitations or individual readings before the Friday sermon, and are worldly conversations at this time considered a disturbance?

One should not raise their voice with the Quran before the Friday prayer, as it involves certain prohibitions. However, if it occurs, those present should occupy themselves with reciting the Quran, remembrance (dhikr), or listening, and not waste their time speaking about worldly matters. Those who raise their voices with the Quran should be advised to stop doing so.
