Is anything required of one who assumes ihram for Umrah from Yanbu, while being from the people of Madinah and an impediment arose that caused him to travel to Yanbu before assuming ihram?

If you intend to perform a ritual after going to Yanbu, you must enter into a state of ihram from the miqat of Madinah (Dhul-Hulayfah). It is not permissible to pass the miqat with the intention of performing a ritual without entering ihram; otherwise, a sacrifice (dam) will be required. If you are unable to do so, then you must fast for ten days.
