Is masturbation permissible to avoid watching pornography, and are there risks if it is practiced daily?

Masturbation and watching pornographic websites are forbidden. Therefore, the questioner must repent from these acts, fulfilling the conditions of repentance: abandoning the sin, regretting it, and resolving not to return to it. It is advisable to stay away from anything that incites these desires, to seek refuge in Allah Almighty to purify the heart and protect one's chastity, to engage in what is beneficial in this world and the Hereafter, and to beware of the whispers of Satan, for he leads to grave consequences.
