Fat is subordinate to meat in terms of permissibility and impermissibility, and it does not have an independent ruling in Islamic law, unlike the situation among the Jews. The fat of swine and carrion is forbidden, just like the rest of their parts. Stoning is the prescribed punishment for the married fornicator; its wording has been abrogated, but its ruling remains. This is something the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, informed about and practiced. The "limits of Allah" encompass His commands and prohibitions.
