The answer

The Shar'i (Islamic legal) way to deal with a person who asks about matters that do not concern him and divulges secrets is to advise him, denounce his actions, and avoid answering his irrelevant questions. If this does not work, then it is permissible to shun him to avoid his harm, for shunning is permissible if there is fear that conversing with him or maintaining ties with him will corrupt one's religion or harm oneself in matters of faith and worldly affairs.
