What is the ruling on money acquired from preparing research papers for students who then submit them as their own work?

Research is required from students to train them in research, strengthen their scientific understanding, broaden their knowledge, and develop their ability to access and analyze information. If someone other than the student conducts the research and the student presents it as their own, this is a lie and deception that is not permissible to do, nor is it permissible to receive payment for it. Whoever has taken money for such an act must dispose of it by spending it on the interests of Muslims or giving it to the poor and needy.
