What is the explanation of the noble Hadith: "He who is killed defending his property is a martyr; he who is killed defending his family is a martyr; he who is killed defending his religion is a martyr; and he who is killed defending his life is a martyr"?

The aforementioned hadith is authentic, and its meaning is that whoever is killed defending his property, or his family, or himself, or in support of Allah's religion, is a martyr and has the ruling of martyrs in the reward of the hereafter. This is what is stated in "Tuhfat al-Ahwadhi" and "Sharh Muslim" by An-Nawawi.
