Has the iddah (waiting period) of a woman whose husband has passed away ended with her miscarriage, and does she inherit from her husband, and is she entitled to the belongings she brought to the marital home, or that her husband bought for her?

We advise the widow to fear Allah and be patient, for Allah loves patience. As for her 'iddah (waiting period), it ends with the miscarriage of the fetus if human features are discernible in it. Otherwise, her 'iddah is four months and ten days. Once her 'iddah ends, she is permitted to leave her husband's family home; otherwise, she must remain there. A fetus that reaches four months of age should be washed, shrouded, and prayed over. If this is not done, there is no sin. The wife inherits one-quarter if the husband has no child, and one-eighth if he has a child. As for the wife's personal belongings and the sewing machine, if they were her property or given to her as a gift by the husband, then they are her right. Otherwise, they are included in the inheritance.
