Is it permissible to perform the Tashahhud and move the index finger with the left hand in prayer when the right hand has been amputated?

The most correct view is not to point with the left hand for someone whose right hand was amputated during the Tashahhud, because the Sunnah for the left hand is to be spread out. This is the sound opinion among scholars. However, some scholars permit pointing with the left hand.
