Invoking divine decree (Qadar) as an excuse to persist in disobedience is baseless. It is the argument of the polytheists, which did not benefit them. Allah has granted the servant will and choice, within His overarching will, to accept good or evil. He has shown them the two paths. Whoever chooses blindness over guidance will be afflicted with punishment. Salvation comes through piety and embracing guidance. Continue to invite them and offer them advice, for your duty is only to convey the message and provide guidance through instruction. As for guidance to success (Tawfiq), that is from Allah alone.
