Do idolatrous sacrifices lead to deprivation of worldly pleasures?

1 min readAlso available in العربية

The ugliest of sins is polytheism (shirk), and sacrificing to other than Allah is a part of it. The one who commits it is threatened with eternal Hellfire if he does not repent. A polytheist may be afflicted with worldly calamities, but it is not necessary that he be deprived of worldly pleasures. Disbelievers share these pleasures with believers. Then, on the Day of Resurrection, these pleasures will be exclusively for the believers, while the disbeliever will be held accountable for them.
