Is it permissible to insure the mosque given what is happening in America regarding attacks on Islamic centers and attempts to demolish them?

Insurance is of two types: cooperative and commercial. Cooperative insurance is based on donation and cooperation and is not intended for profit. Participation in it is permissible if it exists. As for commercial insurance, it is based on excessive deception (ghabn), uncertainty (gharar), and usury (riba), and is not permissible except in mandatory cases or extreme necessities.
