Are there detailed interpretations of the Quranic verses that address the relationships between them and the reasons for their arrangement?

The scholars, both ancient and contemporary, have unanimously agreed that the arrangement of verses in the Quran is tawqifi (divinely ordained), meaning that the Companions followed the command of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who in turn received it from Jibril (Gabriel). There is no disagreement among scholars regarding this matter. Many hadiths have been narrated concerning this, including what Al-Bukhari transmitted from Abdullah ibn Al-Zubayr, and what Imam Ahmad transmitted from Uthman ibn Abi Al-As. Some modern scholars have attempted to find explanations for the arrangement of certain verses. Among the specialized books on this topic is "Nazm Ad-Durar fi Tanasub Al-Ayat wa As-Suwar" (The Arrangement of Pearls in the Correspondence of Verses and Chapters) by Imam Burhan Al-Din Al-Biqa'i.
