What is the ruling on a Mauritanian man working for a company that deals in bribes, and whose owner possesses a tobacco company and a bank?

If a man's work in a company is permissible and based on permissible activities such as trade, then his work is permissible, and he must adhere to what Allah has legislated and avoid prohibitions. However, if the company is based on a prohibited activity, such as usurious banks, then it is not permissible to work there except in cases of extreme necessity. He must leave it immediately once the necessity ceases or he achieves sufficiency. Whoever continues to work in a prohibited field after their necessity has vanished is sinful and an accomplice in sin. A Muslim must safeguard his religion and the purity of his food and drink. It is incumbent upon the sincere to establish alternative financial institutions that operate according to Islamic Sharia (definition).
