My Lord, will You hold me accountable in a place where You are, or in a place where I am, and what are the implications of each option?

The root of the confusion in this matter is the analogy of the Creator to the created, which is incorrect. The attributes and actions of Allah differ from the attributes and actions of His creation. Thus, the coming of Allah Almighty on the Day of Judgment for accountability is not like the coming of humans, and it does not necessitate what some might imagine. Attributes and actions follow the essence, and His essence, exalted be He, is distinct from all other essences. Therefore, His attributes are likewise distinct from the attributes of His creation. And it is not necessary for a human holding another human accountable that they be in the same place, so how about Allah Almighty, whose Throne encompasses the heavens and the earth?
