What is the ruling on earning money from survey companies (surveyspaid) that pay for filling out questionnaires about their products?

One must be wary of companies that ask for in-home surveys, as they may be fraudulent. If the company is legitimate, the ruling on working for it depends on the nature of the product being surveyed; if it is permissible and lawful, then working on it is permissible. However, if it is forbidden or harmful, then working on it is not permissible, because it constitutes cooperation in sin, as Allah Almighty says: ﴿And cooperate not in sin and aggression. And fear Allah; indeed, Allah is severe in penalty.﴾ As for working from home online, one can search for lawful job opportunities on major Islamic websites or through reliable employment agencies.
