Is it permissible to continue working in a company that surveys the opinions of customers and employees of institutions, including banks and television channels?

If your continued presence in your job does not necessitate participation in forbidden activities – such as working for usurious banks or corrupt television channels – then there is no harm in it. However, if it requires participating in surveys from which those entities benefit in their unlawful work, then you must leave it; because it involves cooperating in sin and aggression. Furthermore, the earnings from forbidden activities are unlawful, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, when Allah Almighty prohibits the consumption of something, He also prohibits its price."
