Is a mother's continuous supplication against her daughter, due to her disobedience, answered, and what is the way to deal with her?

If what was mentioned about the daughter's bad behavior towards her mother is true, then this is an act of undutifulness (uquq) and a major sin. The harshness of the parents does not justify this undutifulness. It is advised to supplicate for her well-being and to avoid supplicating against her, because the supplication of a parent is answered, as stated in the Hadith: "Three supplications are answered, no doubt about them: the supplication of the oppressed, the supplication of the traveler, and the supplication of a parent for his child." And it was narrated: "and the supplication of a parent against his child."

It is recommended to advise her gently and kindly by someone she respects. If that does not help, she can be shunned if shunning is likely to bring benefit; otherwise, one should be patient with her and try to win her heart. Parents must be wary of excessive harshness towards their children, and children should know that parental harshness is often motivated by compassion and concern for their well-being. They should treat their parents with respect and kindness, as Allah Almighty commanded: "And your Lord has decreed that you shall not worship except Him, and to parents, good treatment. Whether one or both of them reach old age [while] with you, say not to them [uff] and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word. And lower to them the wing of humility out of mercy and say, 'My Lord, have mercy upon them as they nurtured me when I was small.'"
