Is the mother's statement, "Do not make me supplicate against you for your injustice to me," considered disobedience that necessitates seeking forgiveness from her or from the father?

Disobeying parents and threatening to invoke curses upon them are among the greatest of major sins. Their rights are immense, and Allah has coupled His Oneness with kindness to them. It is not permissible to respond to their ill-treatment with ill-treatment. Rather, one must exercise beautiful patience and respond to ill-treatment with kindness, as Allah Almighty says: "And if they endeavor to make you associate with Me that of which you have no knowledge, do not obey them but accompany them in [this] world with appropriate kindness." And His saying: "So do not say to them [even] 'uff,' and do not repel them." The child must seek forgiveness from their parents for their disobedience, as it is an injustice to them, as stated in the noble Hadith: "Whoever has wronged his brother concerning his honor or anything else, let him seek his forgiveness today before there will be no dinar and no dirham." The shortcomings of parents are not an excuse to neglect seeking forgiveness.
