Will Allah be pleased with me despite my mother’s anger and cursing of me? And is my answering my mother by saying, “I wake up to pray, not to play like my brother,” considered arrogance towards my brother? And is my hurtful talk to my mother considered disobedience?

Parents are the reason for a child's existence, and they hold a great status and a significant right. Allah has linked His right with theirs and enjoined good treatment of them, singling out the mother for extra care. Even if a parent mistreats, the child must be patient and not retaliate. Disobedience (Al-Uqooq) occurs with the slightest harm to parents, and hurtful words are a form of disobedience. You should repent, seek forgiveness from your mother, frequently supplicate for her well-being, and avoid anything that provokes her. What was mentioned about the older brother does not, in itself, constitute arrogance towards him, but it does involve a form of mistreatment or backbiting if he was not present. Therefore, you must repent and seek your brother's forgiveness, or supplicate and seek forgiveness for him.
