Is a daughter reminding her mother of her wrongdoings considered an act of disobedience (ʿuqūq), especially if it leads to the mother's anger?

Parents are among those whom Allah has commanded to enjoin good upon and forbid evil from. The obligation to be dutiful and obedient to them does not preclude this. However, enjoining and forbidding them should be done with politeness and caution, as Allah Almighty said: "So do not say to them, 'Uff,' and do not repel them but speak to them a noble word." (Al-Isra: 23). In disobedience to Allah, there is no obedience to them: "But if they endeavor to make you associate with Me that of which you have no knowledge, do not obey them but accompany them in [this] world with appropriate kindness." (Luqman: 15). The child should adopt the best and gentlest methods, and if they become angry, he should remain silent and occupy himself with supplication and seeking forgiveness for them.
