What should we do with a mother who constantly curses and insults, leaves the house without our father's knowledge, causes problems between us, neglects household affairs, has considered traveling without a mahram, does not accept advice, remains silent about her brother's wrongdoing in talking to girls, shuns her father, and constantly asks for money?

The mother must repent of her sin of neglecting her husband's obedience and her shortcomings in his rights, and her demanding excessive expenses, and her shortcomings in her duties towards her children. She must not travel without a mahram. As for the children, they must endure their mother's harm and advise her as much as possible, and supplicate for her guidance, because the shortcomings of parents do not justify the shortcomings of children. The mother must also fear Allah concerning her children and guide them.
