The questioner is advised to strive diligently in honoring her mother and being kind to her. Among the greatest forms of honoring her is enjoining upon her what is good and forbidding what is evil, with gentleness and good manners, especially concerning prayer. She must also be patient with her mother's harms and overlook her offenses, seeking reward from Allah. Honoring one's mother is among the best deeds, and patience with her is among the greatest causes for Allah's pleasure.
