What is your opinion on making up missed prayers (salat al-qadaa), is it beneficial or not?

If the missed prayer is one that was performed after its prescribed time, then it must be made up immediately upon remembering it, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever forgets a prayer, let him pray it when he remembers it; there is no expiation for it except that." In addition to that, one should frequently seek Allah's forgiveness and repent to Him Almighty for this great sin.
