Is it true that the 'awrah (private parts) in the Maliki school of thought refers only to the two private parts (front and back)?

The awrah (private parts/nakedness) is of two types: awrah for prayer and awrah for looking, and each has its detailed rulings:

Firstly: The Awrah for Prayer: - The severe awrah of a man in prayer is only the two private parts (the penis, testicles, and what is between the buttocks). The prayer must always be repeated if these are uncovered, provided a covering was available and remembered. As for the light awrah, it is what is between the navel and the knee, and the prayer should be repeated within its prescribed time if this is uncovered. - The severe awrah of a woman in prayer is her entire body except for the chest and extremities (the abdomen and what aligns with it from the back, and what is between the navel and the knee). The prayer becomes invalid if these are uncovered and must always be repeated, provided a covering was available and remembered. As for the light awrah, it is the chest and extremities (head, hands, feet), and it is recommended to repeat the prayer within its time if these are uncovered. - Covering the severe awrah in prayer is a condition for its validity according to the Maliki school, if one remembers and is able. However, covering the light awrah is not a condition by consensus.

Secondly: The Awrah for Looking: - The awrah of a man with another man or with a mahram (definition) woman (unmarriageable kin): what is between the navel and the knee. - The awrah of a man with a non-mahram woman: her entire body except for the face and extremities. - The awrah of a Muslim woman with another Muslim woman: what is between the navel and the knee. - The awrah of an adult woman with a non-mahram man: her entire body except for the face and palms. It becomes entirely awrah if fitnah (temptation) is feared. - The awrah of a Muslim woman with a non-Muslim woman: her entire body except for the face and palms. - The awrah of a woman with a mahram man: her entire body except for the head, hands, and feet (extremities).
