Is a worker in a library who photocopies papers related to usurious loans considered sinful, knowing that he tries to prevent beneficiaries or evades photocopying, and donates the cost of the photocopies if he is forced to make them?

It is not permissible to photocopy papers that contain evil, as this constitutes an acknowledgment of evil and an aid to it. A warning has been issued against aiding in what is forbidden, unless you are compelled by coercion that is legally recognized. It is sufficient for you to donate the cost of photocopying. Allah Almighty said: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression." The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever among you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; if he cannot, then with his tongue; if he cannot, then with his heart—and that is the weakest of faith."
