Is it permissible for a woman to get to know the neighbors without informing her husband, who has forbidden her from doing so?

It is better for a woman to stay in her home and not go out except for a necessity, based on the Almighty's saying: "And abide in your houses." It is permissible for her to go out if she adheres to the Islamic regulations, such as wearing the hijab and avoiding seclusion (khalwa) and free mixing. If her husband asks her to stay at home, she must obey him. However, the husband should not be overly strict in preventing her from going out if she adheres to the Islamic regulations. The marital relationship should be built on trust, understanding, and affection.
