What is the ruling on making the name of Allah a background for a mobile phone screen, and is it permissible to take a phone that carries pictures of the Kaaba and Islamic symbols into the restroom?

Glorifying the names of Allah is a religious requirement, but it does not reach the level of glorifying the name of Allah, Glorified be He. Scholars have explicitly stated that it is not disliked to enter the restroom with something containing the name of Allah and His verses if it is covered. Therefore, it is preferable not to use the name of Allah as a screen background as a precaution, for what is on the device disappears when it is turned off, thus becoming as if covered. There is no objection to placing the name of Allah, a verse, or any Islamic symbol as a mobile phone background, and whoever wishes to enter the restroom with it should turn it off at that time.
