The reason for the Battle of Al-Ahzab (the Confederates) was the malice and envy of the Jews towards the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and the believers. So, they incited the disbelievers of Quraish and the tribes of the Confederates to fight the Muslims, promising them support. The Confederates gathered and besieged Medina, but the trench prevented them from entering, and Allah Almighty dispersed them with wind and angels.
