Is the communal marriage that takes place in the Kingdom, where men gather without mixing with women, permissible in Islamic law?

Group marriage, when regulated by Islamic strictures, is a good thing because it reduces costs for those getting married, benefits a large number of people, and unites Muslims, while avoiding the drawbacks of group marriage as practiced in the West, such as impermissible mixing and forbidden singing. This is not a prohibited imitation, because it is not exclusive to them, and it brings benefit to Muslims.
