How can one deal with the husband's family who mistreat and demand services beyond one's capacity, while preserving the marital relationship and avoiding Allah's wrath, especially with Eid approaching?

We advise forgiveness and pardon for the harm caused by the husband's family, seeking reward from Allah, as the Almighty says: "So whoever pardons and makes reconciliation - his reward is due from Allah." We do not advise cutting ties with the husband's family, but rather reducing visits to avoid problems. As for the children, their ties with their father's relatives should not be severed. We point out that the husband's relatives are not considered kin ( رحم ), and it is permissible for a Muslim to cut ties with his Muslim brother if that connection leads to harm.
