Is reviewing CVs and determining the suitability of applicants for jobs that may include teaching dance or other similar fields considered cooperation in sin, rendering the money earned unlawful, and must the zakat paid from this money be repaid?

It is not permissible to aid in a forbidden act, based on the Almighty’s saying: (And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression). Therefore, it is not permissible to evaluate résumés for an entity whose activity is forbidden. However, if the entity’s activity is generally permissible, then it is permissible to evaluate résumés for it, and anyone who is suspected of engaging in a forbidden matter must be excluded.
