What should I do about my feelings for a young man whom I prayed to God to be my husband, but I fear that God will be angry with me due to excessive thinking, especially since I will meet him soon and do not want to fall into a forbidden relationship?

We ask Allah to grant you well-being and deliver you from this situation. We advise you not to be lenient in speech and relationships with young men, for what has befallen you is a result of this leniency. We recommend the following: 1. Put aside desires and dreams. 2. This relationship is wrong, so do not continue it. 3. You are in a phase of admiration and inclination towards this young man, perhaps even love, but you have not reached infatuation. If you do not take hold of yourself, you will fall into it. 4. If the young man cannot propose to you, what is the benefit of becoming attached to him?

As for the solution, we see no better solution than decisively ending this matter and not being lenient in it. The steps for decisive action are as follows: 1. Forget this young man and occupy your time so as not to think about him. 2. If he meets you and speaks to you, tell him: "I do not accept a forbidden relationship. If you desire what is lawful and are able, then go to my father and propose to me through him. But if you do not desire it or are unable, then each of us has our own path, so do not stand in my way." 3. When a young man of good character and religious commitment proposes to you, accept him and marry him. Allah willing, he will make you forget that young man.
