Is it permissible to watch useful medical videos accompanied by music that cannot be removed, even if there is a doctor's explanation in them?

The prohibition of music includes songs, news bulletins, documentaries, and so on. The ruling on listening to them is the same: it is forbidden. Whoever wishes to benefit from a program or a news bulletin must refrain from listening to music. If they cannot, they must seek a permissible alternative.

Sheikh Ibn Baz was asked about beneficial programs that contain music, and he permitted listening to them while turning off the radio when the music begins until it ends.

If the medical benefit can be dispensed with, or obtained without music, then it is not permissible to listen to music. However, if the benefit cannot be obtained except accompanied by music, and the doctor needs it, then it might be permitted because listening to music here is not intended.
